Nominations:

1. All users must be registered in order to submit a nomination.
2. Each 'Registered' user is able to submit 1 nomination form, per month (Aug, Sept, & Oct).
3. Nominations must include Complete Names of Businesses, Organizations, or Individuals.
4. Nominees are NOT required to be affiliated or listed with Delawareblack.com.
5. Nominations will only be accepted on www.delawareblackawards.com.
6. Nominees MAY be submitted in multiple award categories.
7. Any Delaware Business, Organization, or Individual may be nominated.

Verification:

1. The "Top 3" nominees (in each category) will be contacted directly, between the nomination period and finals voting, to confirm their interest and participation.
2. The "Top 3" nominees (in each category) must commit to attending the Delaware Black Awards Recognition Event (or confirm sending a representative).
3. Only confirmed "Top 3" nominees will be announced to the public as finalist.
4. If a "Top 3" nominee is unable to confirm, in a reasonable about of time, the next nominee (with the most nominations) will be contacted for confirmation and so on...

Finals Voting:

1. One Finalist nomination form may be submitted per 'Registered User.'
2. The Finalist in each category with the most votes will be announced at the Delaware Black Awards Recognition Event - November 14, 2008.
3. Finalist voting will only be accepted on www.delawareblackawards.com.
4. Delaware Black Awards WINNERS and decisions are final.
